I really hate to say this, but I'm kinda over TAPS. I don't blame the guys for getting what they can out of all this, but .... I dunno, maybe it's just me. I still like the show better than any of the others.

I heard that Jason and Grant purchased a hotel (I can't remember the name of it but it's in Rhode Island) and they are going to start hosting events there. Could be just a rumor. Question

Nope, it's no rumor. They actually filmed an episode there without Jason & Grant. They felt that since they own it, they didn't want people thinking they were faking any activity to get people to come and stay there.

Hi there, I'm Shara. Figured I'd chime in for my first post!
I think TAPS is amazing for all they have done to open people's minds in the past few years. But yes $800-1000 seems incredibly steep.
I like that they specifically asked the Ghost Hunters International team to investigate their own hotel so it was fair. They got some pretty interesting results!

Too bad about Stanley being so expensive. That place would be a dream to investigate...but of course only if it wasn't full of hundreds of other people doing the same thing!

Nice to meet all of you...thanks for doing what you do! I'm local to the Orlando area myself.

Have a great day!

Hi Shara,
Yes, it is expensive, but for the privalage of staying at the Stanley Hotel and working a case with the TAPS gang...I think it is money well spent if you can afford it.
We've been members of the TAPS Family since 1997 and I can tell you that they are a bunch of really great folks with lots of knowledge and information to share.

So true, I know the experience would be worth the money! It would be incredibly exciting to investigate with them.
I think it's great your team has been in the TAPS family for so many years!

I am especially curious of the room Jason slept in, when his glass was cracked on the nightstand. Not to mention the other room where the table lifted and dropped itself.

I guess I will have to watch my savings so I can eventually get to one of their outings at the Stanley! Smile

Well, if you live here in Florida, Steve and Dave come down from time to time to do investigations in St. Augustine and they don't charge nearly as much.
